Baccalaureate

Baccalaureate is a stage of consolidation and personal definition. A moment in which learning gains depth, meaning, and direction, and where each decision begins to have a real impact on the student’s academic and life future.

At Vallemar, this stage is planned for the 2027–2028 academic year and is conceived as a demanding yet supported process. A project born with a clear vision: to offer a Baccalaureate aligned with the highest academic standards and an international outlook.

Learning will focus on the development of advanced competencies: critical and analytical thinking, intellectual autonomy, effective time and effort management, rigorous communication, and the ability to make well-founded decisions.

Students will learn to research with discernment, contrast information, build solid arguments, and express ideas with clarity and precision. Knowledge will not be memorised in isolation but connected, deeply understood, and applied to real and complex contexts.

Support will be close and personalised. Each student will receive ongoing academic guidance to help them better understand themselves, identify their strengths, and define their path towards university and their professional future. Self-confidence, resilience, and personal responsibility will be developed, preparing students to face demanding academic environments with assurance.

This stage will foster an open and reflective mindset. The ability to understand different perspectives, act with integrity, and engage with the world will be encouraged, shaping individuals capable of independent thinking and effective performance in a global context.
